Albośmy to jacy tacy ...

... Polscy-Kanadyjczycy? Wycieczka rowerowa się udała, pomimo zagrożenia burzą, ale prawdziwym bohaterem był ... Roman! Poland Bike Team - impressive outfit, though according to Roman ... Made in China! Look also at this short for some ... naughtiness!

Dinosaur Trail or Prezes' Birthday

 7 June 2025

The Dinosaur Trail is almost 19 km long, mostly flat, with two "technical stretches." I named it after the dinosaur figure, which stands in front of one of the houses. Perhaps because of the strong winds that day, the ride was attended by only seven bikers (from the left): Mike, Piotr, Grace, Voytek, Witek and (the hand of) Marian. The seventh biker was Andy who took the picture.

Sexy women on their sexy electric bikes

 3 May 2025

To celebrate Polish Constitution Day, our club organized a bike ride that attracted many attractive women (and some men) on their "sexy electric bikes." Tereska mounted her first electric bike, straight from the shop. She justifiably landed on the cover!

Picasso Flats 2024 - Wheels and wishes

 27 May 2024

The tradition of Picasso Flats Bike Ride was restored this year. Postponed for one day because of poor weather, this very fine 18 km bike ride attracted nine participants. From the left: Wojtek, Marian, Elżbieta, Bo, Piotr (the organizer), Bogdan, Marek and Andy. Missing (taking picture): Jacek.

Picasso Flats bike ride and social

 Saturday, 21 May 2022

From the left: Mike, Wojtek, Barbara, Bogdan, Beata, Andrzej, Elzbieta, Jacek, Roman and Asia.

We were so bursting with desire for physical activity and social contact that it was impossible to wait any longer. That is why I invited every body to join me for the Picasso Flats bike ride - a repeat of the trail we did two years ago (see the photostory - https://pmdkwe.blogspot.com/2020/06/picasso-flats.html). Although this was exactly the same trail, this year my GPS showed almost 20 km (comparing to 17.8 km in 2020) - perhaps because, free of the Covid scare, we did the trail in a more leisury way.

Banff Legacy Trail

Having spent lots of energy the previous day on Mt. Nestor, where we scrambled over 1000 meters of vertical gain, I was looking for something easy to do the next day. With Mike we took advantage of having bicycles with us, and after a bit of negotiation, decided to take Banff Legacy Trail from Banff to Canmore.
