Blessed by excellent weather, we stopped at Kelly's Bathtub in Switzer Provincial Park near Hinton. I knew this place from the time of living in that community about 20 years ago. Being small, and (almost) separated from other bodies of water, Kelly's Bathtub typically is much warmer than other mountain or foothills lakes.
Piotr impressed everybody by having a beer right away, Polish-style - from a towel!
The mood of the ladies ...
... and the gentlemen was exhilarating!
I was especially excited by the presence of a French woman ...
... straight from LaFayette, Paris!
Shortly we were joined by Roman ...
... and Ela, whom Mike welcomed not with an "elbow kiss," but "hip kiss," which should be considered a viable COVID-19 greeting.
Bosnia practiced some yoga right away ...
... while others enjoyed refreshing swim! Ania and Mike swam the lake back and forth a few times! It was an excellent idea taking into consideration that ...
... as we discovered later, in otherwise excellent hostel in Jasper, where we stayed for the weekend, there was no ... air conditioning! The day time temperature was around +30C that day. Through the night we sweated more than what we normally sweat in the mountains. Oh well, what wouldn't you do to enjoy hiking in Jasper National Park!?!
The next day the Relaxed Group explored the beauty of Maligne Lake, while the Storm Group, reinforced by Barbara, who arrived late, attacked Roche Bonhomme!
