Beauty Creek definitely lives up to it's name

Located 80 km south of Jasper does not offer much of comfort but it is cozy and..

.. located in the beautiful Athabasca Valley

Gathering before the hike to the trailhead with our Lead Andrzej

Pre hike count, we will need all the boots at the end 

The other group under Prezes' Lead went to Nigel Pass

The thing is mountains do not pamper visitors

We started with the rain right of the bat

But everyone was happy to be in the mountains

We still believed the weather would hold for us

The higher we went, the more zwangla

Rain and very strong wind from the glacier across the valley

The time to bow our heads come at around 2750 m.o.s.l.

Wilcox Summit was not meant to be, not today

Going down was much easier, but still cold

Bighorn Sheep shared a meadow with us

We saved our humor and lungs for the evening fire

Asia was our music director/band/soloist - one women orchestra

Sunday morning welcomed us with a beautiful weather

Quick stretch/yoga and off we go to Stanley Falls on Beauty Creek

Just a mile south from the hostel

Short hike and we are in the canyon

Access to the falls was along quite deep canyon

Surprisingly, none of us visited this place before

Everyone made it back to the parking lot

Next stop Miette Hot Springs and then Edmonton
