... na rzece North Saskatchewan River (przypadkowo nagrany przez Asię Dumicz). It was a lovely day!
Especially the morning hours, when I was alone on the river, were delightful.
It was a bit cool in the morning ...
... so I tried to keep to the sunny side of the river (reversed this approach in the afternoon).
I spotted plenty of ducks, one eagle, and two roe deers taking a bath in the river ...
... not to mention Nessie!
Everything seemed to be conducive of meditation.
In a "meditative state" I almost hit these rocks.
I don't want to post the standard landmarks on this river, such as bridges, which was already done in the previous, similar reports. For instance, here.
The river was rather "lazy" and so was I. It took me 6.5 hours to cover 33 km from Devon to Laurier Park in Edmonton. What was quite relaxing that I didn't have to keep up with anybody. It was nice when Asia spotted me on the river while herself biking along. Her voice came to like from the heaven. For a moment I didn't know who was calling my name and from where. It was also nice when Lady Wife waved her hand to me when I was passing near to our house.
Altogether, I was happy to do this. Happy to be alive!
