Whitemud Creek Ravine or Mother's Day Hike

 

In the beginning it was a Master (Prezes) and his Dog (Ged). 

However, soon they were joined by ...

... some very positive couples (Bogdan and Elzbieta) ...

... youngsters Marta and Lukasz (who hiked with the club for the first time) ...

... very attractive ....

... and colorful "singielki" ...

... and Sean Connery!

Always very dynamic Jacek caught up with us on the trail and suggested ...

... that we also recruit this lady. 

By the half of the trail our Raising Star and Trip Leader, Boris, discovered that he can understand Polish good, as Polish and Croatian are very close languages. 

Boris impressed Elżbietą, who graciously enhanced the background of this photo, so much that she declared readiness to do Via Ferrata with him. This is what is called to have "an impact on women!"

After rehydration ...

... and Marta bravely helped me with the task, it was time to go back. 

Altogether we made 11.3 km in about 2.5 hours. 

The hike itself is quite picturesque at times!

On the way back Mikele was considering "A flight over a Cuckoo Nest."

On account of the very exhausted dog, and to not to miss a Mother's Day broadcast of Our Radio Canada, I rushed home. 

I knew that the participants will be in capable hands of our Vice-President, Mike, who promptly started the process of ... 

... disinfection! 

They toasted to all the mothers, but especially The Mother of the Club - Ania Kociubinska - who invented "pikusie" and thus made us all indebted to her! Cheers!
