Mountain Knighthood

Following the Awards Ceremony of 2021 Photo-Competition and a Tribute to Prezes (see the video), a few male members of our Club were granted "Mountain Knighthood" by the Ladies of the Club. 

The first person to be knighted was this writer, followed closely by Mike, the Vice-President. 

Then it was turn for the Club's Harpagon, or as we call him - "our Kukuczka" - Roman. 

Yanek was knighted for his work with the youth ...

... while Andy for his wonderful videos and photos that so much contributed to the popularity of our blog. 

Andrzej was knighted for his willingness to carry ladies over the raging waters of the mountain creeks!

To ease the burdens of our new responsibilities, the Ladies inoculated us with "pikusie." And how can you refuse a drink from such a beautiful ... "szynkareczka!"

With all the "official duties" of the Awards Ceremony done ...

.... after a drink or two, we finally had a chance to look more closely ...

... while we enjoyed pizza and other goodies. 

Very popular happened to be Mike's plum cake. 

Holly shared with Grazyna her impressions from the recent trip to Canyon Colorado and Zion Park ... 

... while Andrzej and Andy engaged in more "cosmological" discussions!

Mikele swore never to take off his Order of the Garter ...

... unless to put back where it belongs! 

All newly knighted members of the Club promised to work tirelessly in order to bring more people to the mountains ... and possibly 200 000 visitors to the blog!
