2017 08 04-07 - Lake Louise and Mt Temple

Beautiful Saturday morning creates good opportunity for short hike before 

Mt Temple attempt next day.

Lake Louise gondola makes that plan so much easier. 

Ride $35 per person or $39 with full breakfast - highly recommended!

Full breakfast included variety of deserts 

Team fed and ready for some fun

When using chair lift or gondola...

...in no time, you are on the alpine meadow

6:30 AM at the Morain Lake elev.1800 m

Roman patiently waited for group to arrive

8:45 AM Sentinel Pass elev. 2,611 m

Quick rest and reset

7 people will do some scrambling up that hill (Temple)

Group of 4 heads down to Eiffel Lake

So we go up and...

Up and ...

 

Up and...

By 12 PM the whole group reaches the Ridge 3200 m

At this point youth goes back, we will miss their companion

Veterans will continue to the summit

At 1 PM Roman and Yanek at 3,543 m (11,621 ft.)

44 people summited before us on that day
