Life is Full of Unrealized Opportunities
When the opportunity arises pack up the car and off you go to CanmoreIt was a beautiful morning of the longest day of 2020, for sure enough time to summit East End of Rundle (EEoR)
Hike to Ha Ling Peak and EEoR starts almost at the same place and Ha Ling Peak will be like a benchmark for this hike
The thing about EEoR is that it is just up without any breaks. You will start using your hands very fast. Still smiling and looking forward to summitting EEoR
Youngsters; Adam and Gabryś representing Youth of the Club most of the time waited for more seasoned hikers
However everyone was making a decent pace. Smiling less, meditating more, and faster breathing
As on any hike you will cross paths with other people, and when a person has a dog it is like an instant companion. Finnegan accepted us to his pack and so did Alexis
Before we knew, we were at 2,530 m the summit of EEoR. Signed a log book, as the young punks were already gone
Summit photos and... we need to go down.
Yup, we need to go down and down and down...
Fearless Finn needed to cool off his paws in the snow
Youngsters still waiting
Alexis and Finnegan were a great companion for that hike. Thanks for hiking with us
You will need to take a second to enjoy the views
But it was not easy, as every step was technical. Some were so "happy" that they were already planning their next hike: Five star hotel and strolling the streets of New York
Ha Ling Peak and EEoR, until the next time
Yk
Very nice!
