From Barrier Lake to Tuktoyaktuk

After unwinding the challenges of Yamnuska at the fire place the previous night, not without the help of alcohol, a good portion of our group opted for a slow day - a walk along Barrier Lake. 

In the morning Roman received a proper reward for his brave actions on Yamnuska's chain section. 

Asia at the same time, after cutting her self baked bread with her "majcher" ... 

... put her native "dalekie" Daleszewo on the map showing all the places the visitors of the Wilderness Hostel came from. 

At the lake Andy and Basia decided to give a try to the helmets they considered too heavy to carry to Yamnuska. 

"Very unphotographable," in her own opinion, Marianna, shined with her yellow outfit. 

Beatka, still integrating the trauma of the chains, appeared drained out of energy. 

Also Basia and Gosia appeared tired but happy. 

Even Roman appeared to be somewhat ... flat. 

He also lost his 40-year old, favorite shades ...

... that were recovered only with the help of Madame Lulu!

Bożenna, like a few others, opted to cool down her feet. 

This was not enough for Mike who, as is his custom, took a full body dip in the lake. Having swam in Magellan's Strait in the past, tired or not tired, Michał outlined a new plan for the Club, which you can hear about here. 

As you may see, nothing is impossible in our Club, so Mike's plan can come to fruition one day.
