The Best of 2022 Photo Contest

 

The first place in the Category A - Barbara and Witold Krzymień Award - "People and the mountains" - and the winner of the Grand Prix for the Best Photo of 2022 - is this picture entitled "Determination" by Boris Bokov. This photo features Gosia Stróżyk and Barbara Walter scaling Big Bend in Banff National Park. Brave girls! Congratulations to the author for catching this epic effort!

The winner of the Category B - Roman Lipiecki Award - "Mountain Landscapes" - was this beautiful photo by Ada Tai entitled "Mountain symmetries:"

Category C - "Mountain Humor" - Mike Trzecieski Award - was taken by:

... "Are you sure you know what you are doing?" by Barbara Ulkowska. 

Category F - "Mountain Selfie" - Ela Tomczyk Award - was claimed by:

... "The fourth Sister." It is a selfie of one and only Bo Maciaszczyk against the background of Three Sisters Peak near Canmore. 

In Category G - "Pretty Woman in the Mountains" - Marek Kucmierz Award - the first place was awarded to:

... "Baltic Mermaid warming her body next to the semi-frozen pond" by Yanek Wojcik. The model in the photo is the beautiful and sexy Asia Dumicz!

However, upon recount, I established that another picture got one more point. It was: 

... my picture entitled "Beauty so perfectly composed" featuring Sabina Bis on top of the Judge in British Columbia. So I show this photo for the record. 

In Category H - "Sexy Man in the Mountains" - Bo Maciaszczyk Award - one picture dominated the others from the start. It was:

“Some luxuries on a hiking trip include an outdoor shower, even with cold water" featuring very sexy Mike Alexander!

Category M - "Mountain flora and fauna" - Bozena and Jacek Wojno Award - was taken by:

... "The Guardian of Galaxy" of Jacek Maciaszczyk. 

Finally, two "film" categories were dominated by our one and only Andy Rutkowski. 

Category L - "Video with a Twist" - Beata and Andrzej Jędrych Award was won by Andy's film "Dancing in Sedona", while Category N - "Full Movie Feature" - Boris Bokov Award - by Andy's picture "Bright Angel Hike (Grand Canyon Experience)." I very much encourage you to view it!

The Awards Ceremony is expected to happen some time in May. Wait for the announcement.
